Mount Prospect police responded about 10:55 AM Thursday to a report of a retail theft suspect detained at Menard’s, 740 East Rand Road Mount Prospect, IL. Police received a report that an offender was detained after a loss prevention agent saw a 39-year-old man place a route bit valued at $50 inside his pocket, and leave the store without paying for the router bit.
The suspect was arrested and transported to Mount Prospect Police Department Headquarters.
